I am not showing much progress this month.I am going to have cataract surgery on May 15th. My eye is really getting bad and it is slowing my stitching tremendously. I am getting really anxious to stitch some of the motifs that I see in everyones posts. I am looking forward positively and being able to catch I have stitched the initial motif off one stitch and need to frog it out. Looks like I am going to have to wait until after surgery.
I am afraid I will make a hole as it is so hard to get out when stitched 1 over 1. I really do not want to start over with it. So until next month I am leaving it as such. Congratu;ations to everyone on there progress.

April's Progress
Hi everyone,
Managed to get a bit done this month even though I was distracted by the Blackbird contest (saw a few familiar names there too).
This was my progress for March.................
and here is my progress for April............
with a close up just for fun..........
I hope you are all still enjoying this as much as I am. Heading in to good stitching weather in the Southern hemisphere so I'm looking forward to spending more time with this.
Happy stitching xxxxxxxxxxxx

Brenda's April Progress
Well here is my progress for April, again I did not get as much done as I wanted but at least I made a little progress. I still enjoy seeing what everyone else is doing, keep up the great work (needlework that is, because this should not be work but should be play)
Take care and happy stitching

April progress
Miss Slow checking in for April--
Here's where I ended March:
And here's how far I got:
I had not intended to use anything but DMCs and beads on this, but last night I couldn't control myself so I've added in an over-dyed silk from Vikki Clayton. It was a grab bag spool so I'm not sure what/if the color has a name. It's the little shrub in the upper right of the picture.
Next month I really need to get back to some beading.

Jeanne's April Progress Report
Well I made it to my goal this month working on the upper right corner of the sampler. From viewing everyone's pictures, I am getting lots of ideas for color combinations I'd like to try on other samplers. It feels good to see how much we are progressing each month and so far I have been able to stick to my monthly goals. Looking forward to another month's progress in May. Happy stitching everyone!
My end of March picture is on top and April's progress underneath.

Tish's April Progress
Ok, I got the pictures out of order. Above is the whole piece at the end of April.
This is March's progress.
This is the close up of April's progress. Sorry about the big difference in the fabric color. Reality is some where in between the two. The threads Tish is using are DMC: 157, 159, 160, 563, 564, 827, and Needle Necessities 1351.

Jacqueline K B's April Progress...
Above is my March progress, while below is my April progress...it's coming along!
Despite a busy birthday month and visiting my daughter in San Jose for her Dean's List Honors Convocation at SJSU, and finally getting the flu, I'm surprised how much I've stitched this month.
As always, I'm enjoying everybody's progress and seeing everyone's individuality...so glad I have this SAL to help keep me moving and to be constantly inspired!

MARCH
Just wanted to say well done to you all, lots of great progress again this month, the colours combinations are wonderful to see and its so nice to watch them grow and see how differently each of us stitches our way through the chart from different areas.

Shari's April Progress
I was able to work on my BP this weekend. We spent a lot of the weekend outside, since it was so gorgeous, but I also took my piece to a business meeting last night. I figured I could listen while I stitched!!! I got a lot done!
I cannot find my previous scan, but I completed 2 motifs this time,so I have more than doubled what I had done!! EDIT: I JUST FOUND IT & AM ADDING IT!!!!
I am trying to figure out how to incorporate the 3rd color. I know where I am going to put my blue, but I also have a darker rust color to add!
Have a great week, everyone!!!!!

April
That was the end of march,
and so you can see I had more stitching time this month. I think I can do more the next week because the children are free from school and so am I ( I work at the same school as administrator).

Ellen L's April Progress
It's time for the monthly update again. Not a lot of progress, I had to frog out one whole motif due to one missing cross. Hope to do better next month.

Starting Over
I'm sorry to have been away for so long...just as February started my DH somehow got a spot on my Beatrix! I tried washing it off, and then the floss ran. Oh, the pain.
So I put it all away and stitched on other projects. But now, looking at everyone's progress, I think I'm ready to start again. So I'm off to measure out fabric...
I'll be back by the end of the month with a progress photo!

A new start!!
This is my new start Its 32c Antique white Belfast linen.. floss is VC HD silk colour Dried Roses.
I love it and am much happier doing this now.. I have a lot to catch up but I will be stitching this regularly now as I have given up two of my exchange groups and am concentrating on stitching for me! Also as this BP sampler is quite big, as far as I am concerned it is going to be a family heirloom, so it has to be right!
