Annemarie's March Progress

Hello dears,

Has it really been a month already? Judging from the glorious updates you have all been posting, it has! This is mine:

I rather dreaded starting the big flower motif because I had heard so many horror stories about it, but I must say I really enjoyed stitching it. I also stitched the small motif to the right of it and started the next big one, which is turning out yellow! These linen threads continue to amaze me. The colours look so different when you actually work with them! On the whole, this sampler is turning out a lot less pink than I had feared thought! What do you think?

Looks great to me Marie! The only tough thing about those big circular motifs is hoping you match up when you get around to where you started. I've been making working copies and drawing a few horizontal lines across with a hiliter. Then I check my progress a few times to make sure I'm still lined up on track. It's easy to get off a stitch and I hate frogging!

I have to admit, this is one of my favourites so far! It is so different to the rest of us. Beautiful colours. I love it and just wish I'd thought of it first!! xx

I love your color choices. Pastels are my favorite, maybe that's why I like working with the lighter pink on my version.
