Sandy's January Progress

Here is my progress for January. I'm using the called for 32 ct linen and DMC 221. I usually stitch holding my project in my hand. I have found that this is very large so I went and bought some Q-Snaps to help me control all the fabric! Stitching is much easier now.

Very happy to meet another in-hand stitcher! This project is just too big, though, isn't it? I love the colour you chose for Bea!

Looking good! I too brought out the Q-snaps for this one -keeps it from getting quite so wrinkly. I roll up the excess fabric and clip to the frame with those big plastic hair clips. :-)

Lovely progress and colours.
:o)

I'm stitching mine in hand, but mine is a little smaller because I stitch on 40ct.
Most of the time when I use DMC I stitch in hand (also on much bigger samplers, I don't mind holding the fabric), but not whith hand dyed floss or fabric though, then I prefer to use my Q-snaps.
