All Ready ...
I've cut my fabric and tea-dyed it, resulting in a subtle mottling. The sand colour got darker but that's okay since it gave an aged look. I'll be using Pumpkin B for most of the motifs and Pumpkin A (darker) for the filler motifs.

That fiber is lovely....where do you buy that stuff? I haven't heard of that brand before, but I would like to get some of that color, it's lovely!!! I'd also like to see what else they have, as I am sure they have a lot of other great colors. Please let me konw, post here, or post directly to me if you don't mind at caldwell @ swcp.com...of course leave out the spaces. Thanks and I'll look forward to seeing your stitching. THe fabric you tea dyed looks marvelous. I have done some ofmy own but mine has never come out that dark. What did you use? Thanks again....for all the info.
Hi Cathy C,
I got it from Victorian Motto. The link is on the right of our blog. Nancy has the most lovely colours and their sold in 20yd skeins! Do let Nancy know I sent you ;)
As for the fabric, I tea-dyed on Newcastle Sand hence the darker effect. HTH.
Hi Barbara, I did follow your lead and bought these lovely pumpkins for myself! Hope you don't mind if mine ends up looking very much like yours! :) Rachel
