My June Progress

This is my progress so far. I didn't get much done in May because of having surgery on my eyes. I have made a little progress this month as I can see those one over one so much better. I am still having problems with a rash that I am pretty sure came from the eye drops. Hopefully I am on my way to finishing Beatrix.
I am inspired by seeing all the beautiful  work everyone is doing. Next month I have a goal to stitch at least 4 motifs.

And now my progress for June.

Strange how the fabric looks entirely different under different lights and I did manage to run the iron over it this time round!

JUNES PROGRESS - 3 motifs added

Jacqueline K B's June Progress...

Above was my progress in May, and below is my progress in June...Whew!!! That sunflower with the wreath of leaves was very time consuming, but once done, it seemed the other motifs went rather quickly...
June was a very busy month...end of May, my mother in law passed away, and then my son graduated from high school and attended his college orientation...then Father's day and my parents' birthdays...so I just had to make time for Beatrix Potter to keep my hands busy and to keep me calm!! What a lovely stitch this still is...I love how it's coming along and enjoy seeing everyone else's too!!

Beth's June Progress

This month, I stitched 3 small motifs and put the last few stitches in the top right motif.

Jeanne M's June Progress

Hard to believe we're at the end of June already. I did my Beatrix work early this month - thought I might get back to it the end of the month but I was busy with other things. I did stay on schedule and get 3 more motifs done in the lower left corner .

offline for a couple of days

Just to let you know I amhaving a particularly busy period and will be offline for a couple of days. I will do the May updates on Monday. Sorry for the delay. x

May Progress

A little bit late I know, but I was away at a wedding over the weekend and then forgot it was June already!

So this is where I was at the end of April

During the month I managed to finish the small medallion and stitch 2 more of the larger one as well as  the outline of the third.

I had hoped to catch up a little, but we still have 7 more months so maybe.......
Next month I really will try and not be so rushed and get a better photo. This is not at all what the fabric looks like in real life!

Happy Stitching

Julianne's May Progress

I thought May would be the month that I'd make a ton of progress but I'm a very, very slow stitcher. It took me at least a week's worth of stitching time to complete the motif with the flower. I'm happy with what I've done but it's pretty puny when I compare it with most of the posts here.

Mary Wigham SAL

Jacqueline Holdsworth is offering a free design as an SAL. It will come in parts on her Needleprint blog. This would make a wonderful addition to the Beatrix Potter.

I was asked to be UK leader for the Mary Wigham SAL by Jacqueline so I have set up a blog for this purpose. If anyone from the UK only, wishes to participate then email me and I'll send you out an invite to the blog. Email on the blog or in my profile.

Mary Wigham SAL UK

Stitchers from other parts of the globe can contact their country's leader for more information. Further info on different countrys' leaders can be found on the Needleprint blog.

I will count up everyone who has posted their progress for May and note down names in the next day. If you haven't posted up your progress, now's the time.

I've done better this month! Here is April's picture:

I'm seeing that the time of day and lighting is making a big difference in how my pictures look.

Happy Stitching everyone!

Sandy's May Progress

Here is where I left off the end of April:

Here is my May progress:

I have finished the wedding announcement that I was working on, now I will have more time to spend with Bea. I really like stitching this. I can't believe how fast some are stitching theirs up. I hope to have more progress next month.

DonnaTN's May Progress

Here is where I was at the end of April.

This is my progress for May. Not too bad, but it seems to go slowly. I am adding more colors and using my variegated Threadworx, which really makes me a happy camper!

There is no progress this month for my non-blogging sister, Tish. There was a death in her husband's family and she did not have much stitch time.

Sharon in St. Louis May Progress

Hi All -- Yet another month in which life got into the way of stitching. Very little progress on Miss Beatrix to post. But a few stitches more than I had last month. What can I say -- gardening and a couple sets of out of town guests got into the way of my stitching time,

Where I stopped at the end of April:

May progress: Finished unfinished motif at the top and started another motif. Maybe I am on the two-year BP plan.

Happy stitching all,

Sharon in St. Louis
