Rachel's Intro

Hi all,

My name is Rachel V., and I want to first say thanks to Hazel for setting this blog up and giving us the info about ordering this chart. I have wanted to stitch it for a long time! I love the idea that Beatrix Potter had this sampler in her home. My mother raised me on all the Beatrix Potter books and I even had BP wallpaper in my nusery.

While I am waiting to get my copy, I was wondering if some kind soul would mind sharing the stitch count and amount of thread needed so that I can order supplies. Thanks!

I live in Philadelphia, PA, with my husband of 5 years. I am a social worker for a foster care agency and active in my church. My family lives in Texas. I blog at Willing Hands.

Can't wait to stitch with you all!
Rachel

p.s. The photo is me with my Grandma Bonnie, who taught me to stitch.

Hi Rachel. Answering some of your questions...we did not meet at the lecture. I sat in the row in front of you to your far right but I am not seen in the pictures. I saw you but could not think of how I knew you until I was on the drive home to Abington...Willing Hands blog! Yes, Jacqueline was lovely, and her answer to your question was interesting and quite amusing.
